Moving together as one

Studio Strip

From illegal brothel to iconic community brand

Brand strategy
Brand identity

Studio Strip made a name for itself in Amsterdam’s underground music scene with their illegal dance events, but quickly evolved into a powerful creative community, organising fundraisers for Palestine, film nights, and clothes swaps. As the community grew, so did their ambition: to build a platform that empowers and inspires young creatives to make a positive impact on each other and society.

While learning about their community I discovered what truly connected them: their differences. It was built on proudly not fitting the norm. A community of ‘misfits’ bound by their mutual feeling of peculiarity and need for collaboration. It became the foundation for Studio Strip’s new brand positioning. Inspired by the raw energy of 90s New York underground scenes, the new identity celebrates their edge, creativity, and collective power.
